The Truth about Waxing
Be Prepared
Take a deep breath and let it out. Let go of any anxiety you’re experiencing thinking about your wax session and let me promise you, it’s not that bad. For the first time waxers you can get prepared for your appointment by coming in clean, wearing articles of loose clothing, and having hair at least as long as a piece of rice.
Types of Wax
For those of you that are completely new to the waxing game, let me explain there are various types of wax. Here are a few that you’ll see at our salon.

During the Service
We’ve seen it all. Trust us when we say you have nothing to be embarrassed about. We want you to feel reassured that our bodies are natural, they can grow some wild hair anywhere. So wether your waxing service is on your face or nether regions it’s going to be A-Okay!
- Please let us know if you feel uncomfortable. Please let us know if the wax is too hot. This is important. Our bodies can become allergic to wax if we consistently use too hot of wax. We want to respect your body and accommodate how it feels during the service. There’s no shame in telling us you’re feeling uncomfortable.
- Feel free to make conversation. Sometimes it really helps to talk and feel distracted while being waxed. Let us know which TV series you’re watching or talk to us about your day. We love chatting it up during services. But if you don’t want to talk quiet relaxing time is great too!
- If you have a questions, please ask it. We’re happy to explain the process or any other questions you have during a service. No question is ever a stupid question and we love talking about beauty education.
Getting waxed is just like any other service. You’ll be able to relax in our tranquil studio setting and enjoy the ambience. We’ll make you as comfortable as possible.
